The Lavender Federation Trail

Discover the Lavender Federation Trail from the banks of the Murray River at Murray Bridge to the wine growing area of the Barossa at Springton.

The Lavender Federation Trail is named in honour of the late Terry Lavender OAM, the architect of the trail and the first chairman of South Australian Recreation Trails Incorporated (SARTI).

The trail is in the Murraylands, Adelaide Hills and Barossa fire ban districts and is suitable for walking mainly between March and November or cooler days outside this period.

WALKING IS NOT PERMITTED ON DAYS OF TOTAL FIRE BANS
